Guest Posts / Disclosure
I may from time-to-time accept and feature guest posts on my blog, and will always introduce the contributor before inserting their piece.
Some paid and affiliate links are included within my blog posts. I do not disclose within each individual post if there is a paid link, as I will only include them if they are relevant to the blog post itself.
What kind of data do I collect?
I only collect the information you provide – your name and email address. These details can be obtained only by myself through Blog Post comments or though entering my giveaways. You will be contacted (by email) if we need any other personal information (For example if you win a giveaway). At no other time will I contact you for any other information!
How do I use your data?
Email addresses provided through the “Subscribe to ClearlyBex Via Email” will only be used by myself to send you: Notification of new Blog Posts, Newsletters, marketing or promotional materials and other information I believe to be of interest or value to readers of my blog.
Do I share this data?
I am committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of readers and visitors to my website. In particular, I want you to know that: I will not sell, rent or trade email lists with other companies and businesses for marketing purposes. I will not disclose it to any third party unless required to by law.
Occasionally a company providing the giveaway prize may request the collation of giveaway entrants’ email addresses to be passed onto them for their own marketing purposes. This will be clearly marked on the giveaway as a separate entry for you to complete should you wish. This option will never be mandatory, so it is up to you whether or not you provide this information. From here the data will only ever be shared with that one company.
How can you stop me using your data?
You may unsubscribe from my emails at any time by contacting us via email and asking to be removed from the list. You can also click unsubscribe at the bottom of any email from myself.
What other information do I collect?
Your browser sends data whenever you visit my Site. This may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics. This data does not identify you personally, but rather provides me with information about how you use my services and engage with me.
In addition, I may use third party services such as Google Analytics and Google Adsense. This allows me to collect, monitor and analyse this information to help me improve my Site and services for you.
I may also use Rafflecopter or Gleam for use in competitions and giveaways. These systems use your name and email address for the purpose of contacting you should you win a prize.
What is a ‘cookie’ and do I collect them?
For almost any modern website to work properly, it needs to collect certain basic information on its users. To do this, a site will create files known as cookies – which are small text files – on its users’ computers. These cookies are designed to allow the website to recognise its users on subsequent visits, and are automatically generated.
You can instruct your browser to refuse all cookies or to let you know when a cookie is being sent. However, if you do not accept cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this site.
