Advent Calendars to get you excited for Christmas 2020
After such a tough year we are in desperate need of some excitement and sparkle. With Christmas rapidly approaching we are starting to readjust our focus. Our first thoughts of Christmas are Advent Calendars, gone are the days of traditional calendars with pictures behind a door. Today an advent calendar would contain chocolates, toys, booze, beauty or trinkets there is pretty much something on the market now for everyone.
Today we are going to look at a range of advent calendars available on the market for a whole range of recipients, just to prove there is something for everyone.
The Best Advent Calendars of 2020
Kids
Let’s start with the little people in our lives as Christmas is such an exciting time for them.
Now, which young child wouldn’t absolutely adore a Paw Patrol advent calendar?! When I saw this advent calendar from Spin Master I wished my daughter was 5 years younger as she’d have absolutely adored it. Behind each door is a little figurine dressed up ready for winter, sleighs, presents, play pieces and much more. Complete with a little playmat part of the advent calendar it looks fantastic!

Meanwhile again for the youngest of our family, Playmobil’s range of Advent Calendars is as always ever-expanding. With calendars starting for children aged 18 months + you are pretty much guaranteed to find a calendar here any youngster would enjoy.

Looking for children slightly older, there are your usual Lego Advent Calendars. This year I am loving the range that Lego have. I have bought both of my children Lego calendars this year, Lewis has the Harry Potter Calendar whilst Leah has the Lego Friends. Like the earlier mentioned Paw Patrol Calendar the Lego Calendars again come with the small play bases for your child to create their own play scenes.

For Those With A Sweet Tooth
Christmas is all about indulging on those extra calories, satisfying our sweet tooth before the New Year and the subsequent resolutions to lose weight again. There are so many advent calendars on the market for those with a sweet tooth, here are some of our top choices.

We are loving the Cadburys Advent Calendar this year because of its different style and not only does it contain chocolates, it also contains stickers too.
For The Booze Drinkers
Moving swiftly onto the adults, its only fair after the year we’ve all endured that we take the time to treat ourselves or loved ones too. If ladies, you are anything like me, this year I have sampled a fair share of gins and I’m not quite ready for it the end just yet. This Gin Advent Calendar sounds just amazing! A gin for each day in December leading up to Christmas Day.

Then it’s only fair that we top that suggestion with something for the men too. This 24 Days of Rum Advent Calendar looks just perfect.

Beauty
Perhaps you know someone who would just adore a beauty advent calendar. Give them the chance to sample some new products or just top up on products which you know they love. Here are a few of our favourites.

For The Trinket Lovers
Perhaps you or someone you know is a bit of a collector, loves collecting bits from their favourite TV show, film series or such as. For example, I am a massive Harry Potter and Friends fan. This amazing Central Perk 12 Days of Bath and Body Christmas Advent Calendar is perfect for any Friends fan.

Meanwhile, for the Harry Potter fanatics out there, there is a whole range of Harry Potter Advent Calendars to be admired.
