This recipe is not only simple of make, but it’s also quick and easy and will fill you up with the slow release protein from both eggs and bananas.

Don’t get me wrong, this recipe wasn’t designed by myself I actually came across it a couple of years ago when I was weaning my Daughter as she used to love them. Then she developed her eating habits and the recipe lay forgotten about until recently when I was thinking up some new ways for making Leah’s lunch box fun. But the original idea came from various recipes I was filtering through in during my slimming world journey as it was a syn free snack. I don’t know if would still be classed as syn free today, I don’t follow the plan anymore so it’s probably worth consulting with your Slimming World consultant for more information. But I still love these as a healthy snack!

What To Serve Them With

Don’t get me wrong these are a lovely sweet snack but you may find yourself wanting to add that little extra to it. Adding either some chocolate spread, honey or syrup really does give a final great taste!

Or perhaps add some extra goodies to your mixture before frying it up. Try adding some of the following, chocolate chips, blueberries, nuts or granola to give it that crunch.

But remember, to begin with, all you need is a banana and 2 eggs to make these two-ingredient banana pancakes – it’s really THAT simple!
