Feisty Pets : Review
If you’ve been following my various social media accounts recently, you will know my kids have been getting to grips with these gorgeous Feisty Pets from Jazwares. Adorable cuddly pets with a hidden side. I shall tell you more about that later. For our review we were sent Sammy Suckerpunch, Princess Pottymouth and some face paints to decorate the kids.
There are now over 6 characters to collect in the Feisty Pets range, each has their own personality. For example; Sammy Suckerpunch loves chewing on shoes but dislikes bath time. Meanwhile, Princess Pottymouth loves sleeping in but dislikes fairies. Other characters in the range include Sir Growls-A-Lot (bear), Glenda Glitterpoop (Unicorn) Vicky Vicious (Rabbit) and various more.
How to use
These toys are more than just standard cuddly toys, they have a hidden feature perfect for scaring friends and family, their hidden side! Simply by squeezing the sides of your Feisty Pets head your pet will bare its sharp teeth and its angelic eyes look mean and feisty. But I will advise you, their teeth are not sharp at all. If your child was to put their finger in its mouth no pain will be felt as the teeth are on soft mechanisms so that their teeth retract back into their mouth.
Testing it out on the public
A couple of times a week we are usually seen up at our Archery Club, Leah took her Feisty Pet with her to show friends. Leah could be seen happily wandering around the club introducing her Princess Pottymouth to members before scaring them with her creatures angry looks and snarling teeth. Even with all the adults this caused lots of gasps and giggles afterwards.
In a couple of weeks our club will be holding its annual Bonfire/Halloween event and Leah plans to dress as a witch and take Princess Pottymouth with her so scare more friends and members of the club. Leah also plans to take her to her school to show her friends as a Halloween prank before the kids break up for the holidays.
Recommended for Children aged 6+ I can fully understand why! I think children any younger may get a little scared of witnessing a cuddly toy snarl at them. But as you can see my kids were not phased at all with them which you can see in our introduction video below.
Feisty Pets can be purchased at most high street toy stores with an RRP of £14.99.
