#Blogtober18 Day 27 : Plans For Half Term

Day 27 of #Blogtober18, we’re swiftly arriving at the end of October and I want to thank you all for reading daily and being a part of my Blogtober journey. As we’ve now run out of Letters for our topics we are now following other prompts, today’s prompt being “Did You Survive The Half Term”?

Now, that’s a tricky one for me as were only on day 2 of our Half-Term so far – so in fairness, yes i’m surviving so far!

As the kids only broke up on Thursday I’m going to be flipping this prompt into our Plans for the Half-Term.

Friday – Day 1

Yesterday we met up with friends at Attingham Park near Shrewsbury, a National Trust property. These were friends from Lewis and Leah’s old school which they don’t get to see very often whilst also taking Lewis’s new school friend along with us. We let the kids just run absolutely wild for a couple of hours (in between rain showers), enjoying each others company whilst us Mum’s enjoyed watching them all.

Saturday – Day 2

As I type this blog post I am sat on my hotel bed in Preston, we’ve travelled up North for the weekend to spend time with my family and we’re going to spend the evening in Blackpool seeing the illuminations.

Sunday – Day 3

As we are still up north, the boys, my brother and Dad are spending the morning go karting before venturing home.

Monday – Day 4

I’m spending the morning working. Then at lunch Leah’s off to a birthday party. Hoping to take Lewis swimming in the meantime.

Tuesday – Day 5

The kids are spending most of the day at a local sports club, playing games and swimming whilst I get some blog work done. Before an evening at the Archery Field.

Wednesday – Day 6

The kids are spending the day with their Dad whilst I’m at the shop. They then plan to spend an evening Trick or Treating whilst I’m at an Archery training course.

Thursday – Day 7

Another day for the kids at their sports club whilst I spend the morning delivering, then some time blogging in the afternoon.

Friday – Day 8

We have no firm plans as yet, I’m thinking after spending a busy week the kids may want a film day, perhaps a trip to the cinema.

Saturday – Day 9

I’m working all day again at the shop, the kids having another day with Dad.

Sunday – Day 10

Another day of no plans at yet, we’re all at home together so I’m thinking perhaps a PJ day before the kids are back to school on Monday. Also cramming in last minute homework haha!

A busy week, we love school holidays, dreading them going back to school already!
