How is it the 22nd October already?? Continuing with the alphabet theme, today’s letter is “V” and in fitting with National Curry Week it’s only fair we discuss Vindaloo, Korma and all curries inbetween!
I’m a real wimp when it comes to Indian foods, I don’t like spices and in a way I actually find the meals rather oily which I struggle to digest well with my IBS. As for my favourite dish, I can only enjoy it very rarely because of the amount of dairy it contains.

One of the hottest curry’s, a southern Indian dish widely known for its rich hot taste. Flavours include Black Pepper, Lemon, Garlic, Red Chilli and other strong spices.
A dish I’ve never tried, and never want to either!
One of the most popular Indian dishes, where the meat has been marinated separately before adding to the Masala sauce. Of a Medium spice level, flavours include Onion, peppers, fresh tomatoes, coriander and selected spices.
I have tried a Tikka Masala before, I do like Tikka meat but it was still too spicy for me.
If hot/spicy curries are not tempting for your taste buds, perhaps this one may be of favour to you. A very mild curry, consisting of yoghurt, coconut cream and light spices.
A very mild but creamy texture – my favourite!
