The Holiday Diary : Day 4 – Dunster Castle

At the beginning of the summer holidays we took a family holiday in Somerset, I began blogging about our holidays and also sharing with you a bit of a photo diary. Sadly a week after our holiday I suffered a Miscarriage and I decided to take a break from blogging which put a stop to sharing my photos. I am now going to be continuing sharing my photos of our week of which I took over 1000 photos, I am breaking down the diary into days as not to swamp you with too many at once.

So here is day 4 a day outing to Dunster Castle;

Enjoying the Rustic Log Play Area and River Gardens

Fully working Watermill

Stream which feeds the Watermill – ISO 100 f7.1 and 1/20th

Marshall’s Bridge

Gatehouse Entrance

Always time for a spot of dressing up – Lewis didn’t realise just how heavy chain-mail was until he put it on his head!

No National Trust Property is complete without an amazing array of flowers!

Castle Entrance and Green Court

Spot of Archery

View of Dunster Castle from the main road

This pretty much sums up our adventures for day 4, on our travels back to our apartment of which we stopped for a meal in Minehead.

Come back soon for Day 5.
