Siblings – September 2016
We are back for another month of Siblings Project with Dear Beautiful and many other hosts. I haven’t done a Siblings post since June now and I’ve actually missed joining in. I’ve missed noting the changes in my children each month whilst also capturing their growth and little differences.
During the summer holidays I didn’t capture many photos of my kids, I opted to spend some time away from Social Media, my blog and also my camera. I spent quality time with just them and only them, no distractions (excluding many MANY Pokemon Go adventures).
Just before the kids went back to school (and Leah started reception class) we took a trip out to Powis Castle and I took the camera with me, woop! Here’s the photos I captured during our day out.
I am really biased when I say this but Lewis and Leah are seriously like chalk and cheese, as they get older they are sharing interests and love being in each others company. Sadly this last part has caused a slight problem at school as Leah really wanted to spend break times with her brother and they are on separate play grounds, this hasn’t gone down too well but with her new friends she is gaining a nice distraction.
During the summer holidays I set Lewis up with a rolling 1 month mobile phone contract, and we spent weeks Pokemon hunting. Lewis took his own phone and Leah had my phone, we loved visiting various locations local to us enjoying cheap outings and also abusing our National Trust annual pass to visit lots of new places.
