The Holiday Diary : Day 3 – Lynton & Lynmouth
Recently we spent a week in Somerset enjoying some quality family time and exploring areas of the South West coast. During the course of the week I took over 1000 photos so with this in mind I am popping together a photo holiday diary of our week and adventures.
Today we are reminiscing over our outing to Lynton & Lynmouth, one of my favourite places on the Somerset coastline. Sam and I last visited Lynton & Lynmouth 8 years ago and its been a place we were eager to return to one our holiday. It was nice to share our love for the town with Lewis and Leah whilst also enjoying the views and the cliff railway. Here are my favourite snaps from the day.
Leah admiring the boats floating in the harbour.
The view behind Leah.

From the harbour out over the Lynmouth Bay
The Lynton Cliff Railway
The kids found a playground and couldn’t wait to try out the Zip Line.
The beginning of Glen Lyn Gorge – Sadly the weather didn’t play in our favour to venture further into the gorge.
Overlooking the East Lyn River in B&W
East Lyn River the other direction, facing Lynton Town.
Greedy seagull looking to catch the kids crab fishing winnings.

This pretty much sums up our adventures for day 3.
Come back soon for Day 4.
