Win £200 Towards NCC Teaching Assistant Courses

Training or retraining can be a difficult time, especially if you have other commitments such as work, family or children. Most people tend to look towards home learning, learning in their own time thus being able to keep their lives and income on track. This is where NCC Home Learning can really help, offering invaluable courses for anyone looking to retrain.

NCC Logo

NCC offer a wide range of courses to work at in your own time from home but one aspect of courses we are looking at in-particular are Teaching Assistant Courses. Becoming a Teaching Assistant (TA) is hugely rewarding and has a much varied role of responsibility to what was required of a TA when I was in school. A TA not only supports the teacher of that particular class but also helps sculpt the minds of the children by assisting in activities helping to educate children inside and outside of the classroom. My son is 7 years old and just coming to the end of his year 2 education, his TA has been such an important part of his education and not only that she has been such an important person within the class room.

If becoming a Teaching Assistant is something you are deeply interested in then look no further, I have teamed up with NCC Home Learning for one lucky reader to win £200 towards a Teaching Assistant Course of which they offer a wide range of courses.

To enter this great giveaway simply follow the competition instructions carefully, as incorrect entries will result in a forfeit from the competition and please make yourself familiar with my Terms & Conditions.

I would be interested in Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) Diploma as I already have a NNEB in childcare, I would love to get back into working with children again after taking 8 years out while I have been raising my 2 boys and think that it would help and enable me to work in a school which would be great for the hours while they are in school.

I would like to train as a Teaching Assistant, didn’t realise you could do this from home. I am a stay at home mum and I could devote time around the children to do this. I looked at doing this at college but I simply cant afford it and I am not entitled to concessions even though i’m not in paid work and partner doesn’t earn a lot. I like the Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Award Level 3 QCF (NVQ)

This is a really hard choice. I’m a qualified primary teacher currently working in an early years setting with a 3 year old who has speech and language delays and who might be autistic. So there are quite a few courses that would be beneficial both personally and professionally. I’m leaning towards the early years course, the speech and language, or one of the autism courses. If I’m lucky enough to win, I’ll choose then.

I would be interested in Autism Awareness for Educators. As a teaching assistant I have supported several children on the Autistic Spectrum . It would be great to increase my knowledge and understanding of Autism so I can improve the support I offer in school. I believe passionately in an inclusive education for all children and as a parent to a son diagnosed with Asperger Syndrome I am aware how challenging every day life l can be for children on the Autistic spectrum.
