Lilly and Sid Summer Stripes : Review
A couple of weeks ago I received a newsletter from Lilly and Sid, advertising that this summer would be all about stripes, Summer Stripes. I really do like clothing with stripes, sadly for myself I’ve never found that they actually suit me what so ever but I have always been intrigued on how they would suit Leah so I offered to review and try the latest style out with her.
For our review we received the Pretty Stripe Party Dress size 5-6 years. With Leah she is rather tall her for age, she was only 4 in March but she has a long and slim figure which puts her legs in the size above.
This cotton woven dress features blue and white horizontal lines whilst the skirt has the same colour vertical lines. The bodice of the dress is lined internally to provide a bit of extra comfort and is finished off with a red ribbon waist and red buttons on the rear.
Fully machine washable on a 40c cycle and also safe in the tumble dryer makes this dress very practical for an active child to wear time and time again.
Shortly after receiving Leah’s new dress we had the perfect occasion and most importantly the perfect weather for her to wear her new dress. On Bank Holiday Monday we had planned an outing with my family to meet at Trentham Gardens, my family adored her new dress, of which Leah was by no means shy about showing off. Leah particularly liked showing it off to any passing stranger (and fairy) on our walk around the lake.
I am very pleased with Leah’s new dress, its a perfect length for her, finishing just below her knee as designed. The colour and styling is perfect for her and she passes off the stripes very well indeed.
This dress is available to buy direct from Lilly and Sid with an RRP of £30.00 and is available in sizes 2-3 years through to 7-8 years.
