My Sunday Photo – Criccieth, Wales – 1/05/2016

I am linking up this week to My Sunday Photo with Phot A Life with this photo;

Criccieth MSP

Earlier last week we spent the day in North Wales, whilst in the area we popped by a local beach which we enjoy visiting, Criccieth. As you all know this week brought about some weird weather, and this day was absolutely no exception, we saw strong winds, rain, sleet, hailstones, snow and glorious sunshine… all in the space of an hour at one point! Thankfully when we reached the beach we were greeted by sunshine and the sun did indeed keep his hat on for the duration of our stop off here, we took a wander to the top of the hill where Criccieth Castle stands. From here we got some amazing views.

Choosing one photo for this week was incredible difficult, I chose the first picture as my absolute favourite because of the colours and sun glare in the clouds. Here are one or two more;

    I’ve been to Criccieth and whilst I stayed in the dodgiest hotel in Wales I did think it was a very beautiful spot and your pictures have done it justice! #MySundayPhoto

    Stunning view. There is nothing quite like the sky against the landscape on sunny days.

    These are quite stunning! Isn’t it great when the weather is nice to us (sometimes) when we need it? :>

      It certainly is, the weather did spoil us after such a soggy start!
