Dandelion – 24/05/2016
This week I am trialing out a new way of sharing my photography, through my blogging travels I am finding a couple more photography linkies of which I want to take part in. From my on the subject to my blog post shall be the name of the photo and thats it.
So on with the show….
Last weekend we went on an afternoon outing, across various fields following the River Severn in Shropshire. A lovely afternoon spent with the kids, husband and dog walking away from the noise & bustle of life and enjoying each others company. Intentionally I took the camera out with me to capture the dogs adventures, his bursts of energy as he sprinted through fields but when I got more than enough photos of him I moved onto looking at the floor. The joys of walking along a rivers edge is there is no shortage of life, bugs, dragonflies, flowers, green stuff, and dandelions… so so many dandelions.
Before we set out on our adventure it hadn’t long rained and the ground was still rather damp, dandelions everywhere I looked had shrivelled up as they had soaked up the moisture. So it was nice to see this dandelion which had be lightly sprayed but not shrivelled.
Not usually hot on my macro photography (i dont even own a macro lens), this photo was captured on my telescopic 70-200mm lens. I still love the end result.
