Siblings – February 2016

This past month I have seen such a lovely bond form between Lewis and Leah, they are so much alike in their ways and mannerisms.

The love spending time together, wether is be watching TV, playing games, or on outings they will never be far apart from each other. Lewis is very caring for his little sister and Leah really does look up to Lewis. As I currently type this, both kids are upstairs playing in each others bedrooms, I daren’t go and find out what havoc they are creating but they are talking so nicely to each other and are happy. So I’m happy!

When we go out I regularly see myself so lucky as they enjoy their outings out together and taking in the world around them. They don’t create a fuss, don’t argue, scream or fall out. We really do have a lovely loving unity between us all, disagreements can be met with compromise and they get rewarded for good behaviour.

Last weekend we took an outing locally, the weather was lovely so it was nice to get out and breathe in the cool winter air. Seeing this as a prime opportunity to capture some pictures I packed my bag and tripod and we hit to road.

It paid off!

Siblings - February

Its become a bit of a standing joke with the kids, the minute I hit the trigger they have to come and check the photo so we never get 2 photos alike as they always move. Next Lewis wanted our dog in the photo, Tiggy can be quite a handful at times as he’s still very much in his bouncy, energetic puppy stage at the age of 2. We had to be quick with this photo as there were quite a few people in the area which meant more furry four legged creatures for him to go sniff and bark at.

Siblings - February 1I’m glad I took these photos prior to us beginning our walk as 20 minutes later on a very wet and muddy path Leah fell and was plastered in mud from head to toe… She wouldn’t let me take her photo at that point, spoilsport!

Ah it’s so lovely to hear just how well they’re getting on together. I wish I could say the same for my two, although they’re both a lot younger. They’re both very photogenic and it looks like something had definitely caught Tiggy’s eye. A lovely post and even lovelier pictures x #siblingsproject

It’s always lovely to read about siblings who get on well together. I have always had a great relationship with my brother (and still do now) so I hope my boys have the same. It looks like you had a lovely walk, even if Leah did end up covered in mud!
