Weekly Weigh In at Slimming World : 19/1/15
So I’ve reached the end of week 2 back on plan with Slimming World…
This week kind of went well as well as can be, given we’ve had a Birthday celebration. Last week was my husbands birthday, so as per general birthday celebrations, out came the cakes!!!
I love cake!
Thursday night (day of my husbands birthday) was a evening spent at my Mother In Laws house, enjoying a lovely roast dinner finished off with what could only be described as one for worlds highest synned puddings ever, profiteroles!
Friday was mostly spent back on plan, albeit left over birthday cake being in the house and wine.
Saturday was our lazy food night, trying to stick as close to plan I’d intended to have a Chinese take away which included boiled rice. That was until hubby declared he wanted Pizza Hut! Yep, Pizza… Oops!
But given the fact I was face with 3 days of naughtiness I was pleasantly surprised when I stood on the scales this week and I’d lost 1lb!
I’ve now lost 5lb in 2 weeks and I am now 15lb from target.
Following last weeks weigh in I began meal planning for the evening, this has really helped us when we’ve not known what to cook and also I feel I am food shopping for a purpose now. I’ve bought various herbs, spices, sauces to make the lovely recipes I’ve written down and meals have become a lot less stressful. We also tried Diet Coke Chicken of which we enjoyed again last night, I’ve been recommended to try gammon instead of chicken and diet orangeade instead of diet coke. Various meal alternatives for me to try out.
