Trendy Tot Thursday – Week 75
Welcome back to another week over in the Trendy Tot Thursday (#TT_Thursday) corner!!
Firstly I want to welcome you all back after the Christmas break, I have really missed hosting this linky but I am now feeling all refreshed and ready to carry on!
For any newbies who are unaware what Trendy Tot Thursday is about, its a weekly kids fashion linky where you can share your child’s/children’s favourite outfit(s) of the week.
There are no restrictions to the outfit(s) (i.e. new, old, borrowed, charity shop bought etc) or age of the children, so long as you are happy I am too.
For further information please feel free to read the intro post.
As you may have noticed the intro to #TT_Thursday has slightly changed, unfortunately I am now running this linky solo. Tina from Mothergeek has decided to leave as Sam & Sydney are now at school/nursery full time thus wearing uniform 5 days a week. Their need for casual clothes has somewhat diminished so I have decided to carry on alone and I’m sure Tina will be seen from time to time when they have something new to share.
I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas holiday, we sure did, it was very busy. This kids are now back at school and nursery which has given me time to blitz the house and finish tidying up all the new toys, finding them all homes.
To start off our 2016 #TT_Thursday journey I have decided to take a look back over the past 12 months, I regularly do this when setting up my weekly post, I like to see just how much the kids have grown and changed. I have pulled out 3 of my favourites for each child and this is what I have come up with…
The first outfit (left) featured at the May Bank Holiday (week 44) when Leah received her Bobux Wildflower Mary Jane shoes to review and they have remained Leah’s favourite shoe ever since. The t-shirt has a slogan on it saying “Sweet As A Daisy” which is from Mothercare, shorts were from George and tights from Primark.
The second outfit from March (Week 36) focused mainly around Leah’s Rabbit Poncho which she got for her Birthday, this was her first time wearing it and she just had to pretend to be a rabbit wearing it.
The last outfit from August (Week 57) really is one of our summer favourites, the whole outfit (except the shoes) is from Next. The top was in the “multi-buy” section priced at £6 but the leggings were not. I couldn’t resist teaming this outfit up with these leggings though as the pinks matched. I hope for Leah to wear this outfit again in the upcoming summer months as I bought it in a size 4-5.
Lewis doesn’t feature overly often purely because he spends most of his time in his school uniform. During the holidays I do like to capture what he wears to show you all. Here is 3 of our favourites from 2015.
The first photo on the left is from early July (Week 51) where we went to Hatton Country World for a Press Event with Bebop Castles. Lewis doesn’t like wearing too many layers, he certainly is a warm blooded male. He much prefers the summer months so he can wear t-shirts, shorts and sandals.
The second is from Super Hero Day/World Book Day at school (Week 34), he’s not usually one for dressing up at all but when he asked if he could go to school as Spiderman who was I not to refuse?!
Lastly we have something we particularly enjoy doing as a family and going out for country/forest walks (Week 66). It was a particularly cold day, I was wearing coat, hat and gloves… Lewis; Jeans, tshirt, jumper and wellies. I had to fight with him to keep his jumper on as he was complaining he was hot… it was really cold!
So now its your turn;
All we ask for is for you to spare 5 minutes to share your outfit of the week, grab a badge (below) and pop it on your blog post. Once you have linked up simply share the love for #TT_Thursday and comment on other blog’s which have linked up.
