Photo Of The Week

My Sunday Photo – Chilly Woodland Walk – 24/01/2016

I am linking up this week to My Sunday Photo with Phot A Life with this photo;

Last weekend we headed out on a very chilly woodland walk, stretched out legs and enjoyed the fresh air. I find winter awkward to photograph as the colours feel really bleak, everything is either green, brown or black. But I did find this rather lovely stream, it was flowing quite fast as the recent snow had melted and was adding to the sheer amount of water we’d recently had. I wanted to capture the washy effect of the water so had to slow the shutter speed down enough that I could still hand hold the camera which was tricky.

      Thank you, I do wish i’d taken my tripod to slow it all down a wee bit more but it was a fab result non the less!
