War Of The Worlds Fireworks Spectacular at Drayton Manor Theme Park

Last night we went to Drayton Manor Theme Park for an evening by the lake to celebrate their 65th anniversary, with a special fireworks display featuring Jeff Wayne’s musical, War Of The Worlds.

Now, as Drayton Manor’s Blogger Ambassador you would expect me to say we had a great night and fireworks display wAS fantastic yadda yadda yadda…. But, let me spell this out for you…

Honestly, last night has left amazing memories and I honestly don’t think I will ever see such an amazing firework display ever again. In the centre of the lake was a water jet and a projector showing amazing scenes from The War Of The Worlds which reflected on the lake and all the fireworks worked well in time to the musical.

We were very lucky to get to the front row looking over the lake, but be warned, get there early to avoid disappointment!

Here are some photos and a short video clip (filmed by my 6 year old so I apologise for quality) from last night.

Displays are now taking place with tickets still available to Tonight and Tomorrows evening shows (31st October & 1st November). Head over to Drayton Manor Theme Park’s Webpage to book your tickets now, with prices starting from £25 online or £36 on the gate you will not be disappointed. Ticket prices include a full day on the park, an evening of fireworks and selected rides open until 9pm, this is fantastic value for money!

**This is not a sponsored post, we were invited to Drayton Manor Theme Park as part of our ambassador program to watch the War Of The Worlds Fireworks Display. All words and opinions are my own.

Wow. Those photos are insanely good. I always forget about Drayton Manor Park as we live pretty close to Alton Towers. It would be nice to go there for a change.
