There Will Be Some Spooky Going’s On This Halloween At Drayton Manor Park

We are absolutely loving our time as being Drayton Manor Park Ambassadors for 2015, we have already enjoyed numerous outings to the park tried so many new and exciting rides and look forward to seeing what the end of the theme park season brings. With a couple of events in store at the end of the season we are bringing you the news today of their Halloween Event!

More Treat Than Trick

Drayton Manor Theme Park gears up for more treat than trick this Halloween!

Drayton Manor Theme Park will end its action packed 65 anniversary season with two weeks of spectacularly spooky half-term fun. From Saturday 17 to Saturday 31 October, Europe’s only Thomas Land™ will be transformed into the spook-tacular island of Sodor. Guests can enjoy new rides Flynn’s Fire Rescue, Toby’s Tram Express and Captain’s Sea Adventure. And don’t forget to knock on the Fat Controller’s door for a trick or treat before you leave!

For visitors looking for something extra scary there is Drayton Manor’s very own Haunted House, The Haunting, where guests can get involved in the ‘All Hallows’ spirit, being sure to keep their eyes and ears peeled for anything that goes bump in the night! Thrill seekers won’t be disappointed as they experience the UK’s scariest ride*, Apocalypse, get the fright of their lives on Shockwave, or brave the monsoon on Stormforce 10.

Drayton Manor Theme Park also boasts a fantastic 4D Cinema and a 15-acre Zoo, which is home to a mischievous meerkat mob, two critically endangered Sumatran tigers and it’s very own witches’ familiars, a pair of black leopards.

Families who want to make a night of their half-term Halloween fun can put their feet up at the on-site four star Drayton Manor Hotel, which has over 150 contemporary rooms including executive rooms, interconnecting family rooms, presidential suites, and 15 Thomas & Friends™ themed rooms for fans of the little blue engine and his friends! There’s also a range of bars and restaurants that cater for all.

Drayton Manor Theme Park’s 2015 season runs until Sunday 1st November, with the ‘War of the Worlds’ themed Firework Spectacular weekend taking place on Friday 30, Saturday 31st October and Sunday 1st November. Drayton’s established Magical Christmas event will be available on selected dates from Saturday 21st November until 31 December.
