The Bonnie Baby Has “Grown Up” – Meet The All New The Bonnie Mob : Review
Hosting a weekly Linky (#TT_Thursday) not only is fun, sharing my daughter or sons favourite clothing item of the week but also opens my eyes to other brands available, not just on the high street either. Since starting the linky 62 weeks ago (yes, 62 weeks!) I have seen very familiar names pop by regularly but then occasionally I will see a name I have never seen before, this is how I came across The Bonnie Mob.
Originally founded in 2005 was Bonnie Baby, focusing mainly on baby clothing from ages 0-24 months but as we all know babies soon grow up and out grow brands which we have fallen in love with. With this in mind earlier this year Bonnie Baby flourished and grew, like our children and has now become The Bonnie Mob providing wonderful well made products from 0 to 7 years.
I was very excited to be offered a small range of their products, suitable for Leah to show you today.
For our review we were provided with a Barney Organic Cotton T-Shirt With Badges, the Lara Chunky Knit Snood and Leni Chunky Knit Bag all nicely wrapped with a lovely message to Leah welcoming her to The Bonnie Mob, we couldn’t wait to get started and testing out her new items.
First up I shall tell you about the Barney T-Shirt, priced at £23.95, available in 3 colours (white, pink and blue) and sizes ranging from 3 months to 7 years. This T-shirt really has got my friends talking recently when Leah wore it on an outing as it comes with 3 iron-on badges. Made from 100% Organic Cotton, this long sleeve t-shirt is absolutely perfect for the upcoming cooler months of Autumn and Winter.
The pattern of the T-shirt is delicate and really does look lovely. In the packet contains 3 iron on badges, a beaver, rabbit and racoon. We couldn’t wait to get to work ironing them into Leah’s chosen places on her T-Shirt.
With the Ironing board set up, Leah laid out her badges and with ClearlyDaddy’s help they ironed them into place (I was holding the camera). Attaching the badges was easy, within minutes they were set, cooled and Leah couldn’t peel them back off. The t-shirt was ready for wearing.
Leah couldn’t wait to get outside for our photoshoot to show off her new top, we ordered size 4-5 as Leah has recently had a growth spurt and both my children are taller than average for their age. I am happy that the clothing from The Bonnie Mob is equivalent in sizing to other brands.
Next up we took a look at the Lara Snood, priced at £25.95 and Leni Knit Bag, priced at £28.45. The snood is available in one size and 3 different colours (pink, green and yellow) it is absolutely gorgeous and is something which Leah will learn to get use to over the coming cooler months as she’s only worn “standard” scarfs in the past. Where as the Leni Knit Bag has been a complete hit with Leah, she just loved handbags (just like her Mum!). Available again in 3 different colours it is a complimenting item to the snood with its chunky monochrome and colourblock jacquard pattern.
Leah absolutely adores all her new clothing items and so do I, they are incredibly well made and I am happy that Leah will enjoy spending the coming Autumn/Winter season with her new clothes.
I am now left wondering when The Bonnie Mob will become The Bonnie Clan and start featuring adults clothing, I really would like a matching snood to Leah’s!
The Bonnie Mob are not only an online boutique but they have various stockists throughout the UK and the rest of the world.
**This is not a sponsored post, we were provided with a range of clothing and accessories from The Bonnie Mob for Leah to try out and review. All words and opinions are my own.
