June : Round Up

June has been a very quiet month for me, both with requests but also my interaction with my blog and social media. The main reason for this is that I had surgery at the end of May and spent 4 weeks feeling rather poorly afterwards, I also started a new job which limits my evening ability to blog. I am now recovered and now finding a new routine to life and finding my time to blog coming back.

The only item I have to tell you about this month is Monchhichi from Bandai.

MonchhichiWe were sent these adorable creatures at the end of May in time for the half term holiday, the aim was to take them on days out with us to give them fun adventures. Unfortunately with my surgery happening on the 2nd day of the holidays neither the bears nor my children left the house for 5 days so sadly we never got to do our adventures.

We fully intend to make up for the lack of adventures during the summer holidays, keep an eye on my Instagram feed for updates to see where we end up.

Monchhichi has been around for many years, perhaps you knew them as Chicaboo?? These loveable bears have beautifully soft bodies but plastic faces, hands and feet. One hand is holding a dummy perfect for when your child thinks their bear is upset.

Monchhichi 1There is a range of characters to collect, in a range of sizes from keyring sizes to plush bears up to 80cm tall. There is certainly a bear for every child. Available to buy in most high street stores and also on-line, we were provided with a 20cm Classic RRP £18 and a Keyring RRP £8.50.

Also from Bandai in June we have been testing the Tamagotchi, we have had lots of fun raising our digital pet, connecting it with friends and also earning rewards for it on the Tamagotchi Dream Land. You can now read our full review here.
