Sea Life Centre Birmingham Conservation Star Competition #StarOfBrum 2015!

Over the next month Sea Life Centre Birmingham are on the hunt for a very special person. They are on the lookout for someone who has made a valuable contribution to conservation in your local area, this person will be crowned the Conservation Star 2015.

Sea Life Centres truly believe that conservation is at the heart of everything that they stand for, looking out for the well being of sea creatures and ensuring their living conditions are adequate, this is on a global scale and not just in house at their attractions.

This is where the search to find the #StarOfBrum 2015 was born, do you know a special young person (aged 16 or under) who will go that extra mile to help preserve conservation in your local area? It can be something as simple as removing safely removing junk from a pond edge so that ducks or fish don’t choke on it or rescuing a small stranded sea creature on a recent day trip to the sea. It doesn’t matter what, so long as you think it is worth a mention.

All you need to do is nominate your chosen person. The winner will receive a Sea Life Annual Pass and goody bag as well as free family membership to The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and The Black Country for a whole year.

For this reason I recommend entries to be submitted to families are in the local area or can travel over to make the most of their prize.

For more information and for full Terms & Conditions head over to the Sealife Conservation Star Competition webpage. Be quick though as this competition ends on the 20th June 2015.
