Visiting Madame Tussauds to see Paddington and Mr Brown
Last week whilst visiting my family up North I received an invite to attend a screening of the new Paddington DVD and launch of a new wax work at Madame Tussauds, because we were in the area I couldn’t refuse it plus it had been a long time since our last visit to the attraction. So our last day up north I bundled myself, my Grandma and the kids in the car for a trip to Blackpool to visit Madame Tussauds.
We were greeted in reception then shown upstairs to a room which was kitted out ready for our film, we’d never seen Paddington movie before only trailers so we were eager to watch the film and we were not disappointed. From the first minute Lewis was hooked, laughed at all the funny scenes and cringed at all the right moments, all in all the film was brilliant and we shall certainly need to add that to our DVD collection soon.
After the screening we were then escorted to the wonderful wax work of Hugh Bonneville, aka Mr Brown who has recently caused a stir at Blackpool North station as they renamed it Paddington for a day to celebrate his arrival.
I last went to Madame Tussauds nearly 2 years ago prior to leaving the North West, so it was really nice to return. My Grandma has never been and she was absolutely amazed just how lifelike they are all, not only that Leah was really annoyed when Tiger Woods wouldn’t talk to her!
