Clarks Shoes : Review
With the seasons now changing I have begun looking at changing the kids shoes, over winter Lewis has been wearing either school shoes, fleece lined boots or trainers whilst Leah has mainly been in boots. Now with things warming up slightly the kids don’t necessarily need just thick footwear to keep their feet warm so we have begun looking at the upcoming Spring/Summer season.
For our review we were provided with a voucher to take to our local Clark’s Shoes store to try on lots of shoes which are now available in the Spring/Summer range. To give you the best idea whats available we chose to try on a different shoe in different ranges, focusing on casual shoes, trainers and sandals. I’ve not long purchased Leah some shoes from Clarks of which Leah wanted some canvas pumps so we began our visit rechecking the size of Leah’s feet (8F right foot/8D-E left foot) and get got some to the serious business of trying shoes on.
Leah has been a Clark’s shoes wearer since an early age and she now comes to recognise that when we go to Clark’s she has her feet measured and she then gets to choose (with my assistance) a pair of shoes to try on and take home.
Leah soon got down to work choosing all the shoes she wanted to try on and we shall be talking about them now.
First up we have the MitsyLeap Inf, which is a trainer shoe designed in Clark’s new Binkies Range. Binkies are new to Clarks for this year which feature a loveable trio of bunnies across different footwear types and as things turn out Binkies are actually featuring throughout most of our review!
The MitsyLeap Inf trainers are a full shoe perfect for long periods of wear, available in one colour design and perfect for little girls. These shoes feature double riptape straps, non marking sole, soft fabric linings and superb flashing lights in the heels. These shoes are available in sizes 7 to 9 1/2 and are priced at £30. Next up we have the NibblesCute Inf shoe, again from the new Binkies range. We have been taken with these shoes for some time as they are just adorable and feature a cute bunny on the toe. These shoes are super flexible and to lightweight for summer use. They feature just one easy to use riptape for small hands and are available in sizes 7 to 12 1/2, priced at £30.
Shoes Three and Four are both sandals. The Binkies are the WiggleToes and the others with the flowers are Rio Dance. Both sandals are super lightweight, perfect for the warm months of summer and are pleasantly designed to match well with any outfit. The straps on both shoes are of a Riptape style but the straps on Rio Dance are certainly more fiddly as there are 3 straps just for the toes on one foot! Both sandals are available in sizes 7 to 9 1/2 and priced at £30 for the WiggleToes and £34 for the Rio Dance.
Leah certainly enjoyed trying on all the shoes, and was delighted when I let her choose which shoe she wanted to buy and take home. In the end she chose the first pair, the MitsyLeap Inf which are perfect for Leah’s active feet and will keep for comfortable for a long time whilst running around at nursery and playing in the garden at home.
Are you looking at buying shoes for your little one soon, which design would be your favourite??
