There are no restrictions to the outfit(s) (i.e. new, old, borrowed, charity shop bought etc) or age of the children, so long as you are happy we are happy.
For further information please feel free to read the intro post.
For last week one post that really stands out for me was from Bebe Bear with Oscar’s super duper super warm shark hat. Auntie Sally is really talented and should start taking orders ;-)!
This week I am showing you all the contents of my trip to Nutmeg 3 hours ago, the kids are at school/nursery so they haven’t tried them on yet but I am super they will love their new haul!
Truth be told I don’t go to Nutmeg as much as I should as our local store 1) does stock much and 2) isn’t overly local… but saying that I am going home this weekend and I know the store near my Mum and Dad stocks much more so I shall have to call by for a look.
First up, after emptying all of Lewis’s wardrobe yesterday and leaving him with next to no jumpers which fit I couldn’t resist but treat him to this. Its really soft, stretchy and looks really warm. Priced at £10, sized 7-8 years (for a 5 year old) I hope to get until next Winter out of this but he does grow suddenly!
Leah got a couple of bits, she needed some soft comfortable jeans perfect for nursery, priced at £8. The T-shirt was a brilliant price at £2.50 so I couldn’t walk away from that, again this material was soft and comfortable. Whilst her jumper I simply couldn’t resist, the cat and bow really sold it for me (certainly not a nursery item) priced at £9.
Having got the items home I am more in love with them but have become slightly worried about the jeans… in my excitement of finding lovely Jeans for Leah I forgot she’s a skinny girl, has not hips and no bum. I think imparticular with the waist of these jeans not being adjustable nor belted I think they are going to spend alot of time around her ankles.
But I’ve been proven wrong, yes ok the Jeans are impressively baggy but they happily sit on her non existent hips/bum. She’ll grow into them over the coming year which is great news to me. #HappyMum
