Haliborange Mr Men and Little Miss Vitamins : Review

I will confess I am terrible at remembering to make sure my children have had their vitamins, only becuase I’ve never found any that both my kids enjoy taking. Leah’s vitamins come in the form of liquid drops due to her fussy eating so I can hide hers in her juice whilst Lewis usually has rather chalky tablets which he doesn’t overly enjoy but will take them when I remember.

Recently I was contacted by Haliborange to try out some of their Mr Men and Little Miss for Children range. Deisnged for children aged 3-7, these soft chewy vitamins are available in variety suiting your child’s needs.

We were provided with a goody bag of products and 2 different tubs of vitamins for Lewis to try.

HaliborangeThe 2 products were were sent to try were;

Immune Support – These are blackcurrant flavoured and shaped chewy tablets. These tablet contain 100% of your child’s RDA (Recommended Daily Allowance) of Vitamin C to help boost immunity against coughs, colds and other seasonal germs. They also contain Zinc, Selenium and Vitamins B6 & B12, all these help contribute to a normal functioning immune system and energy release. Available in a pack of 30, and your child can take 1-2 tablets per day.

Calcium & Vitamin D – These are strawberry flavoured and shaped chewy tablets. They contain 100% of your child’s RDA of the “sunshine vitamin” (Vitamin D) whilst also containing 31% of a child’s RDA of Calcium. Together these strawberry tablets will help promote strong and healthy bones. Again these are available in a pack of 30, and your child can take 1-2 tablets per day.

Haliborange 1The packets are really well designed and suitably appealing to young children. I only have 1 problem with it, the lids are non secure. Easily opened by anyone, I think this could be rather dangerous in the wrong hands and especially when my 5 year old climbs my kitchen cupboards to reach the top shelf to get his vitamins! It would be good if Haliborange would change their packaging to make lids more secure and give peace of mind to parents. But all that said Lewis loves his new chewy vitamins, remembers to ask each morning at breakfast and his favourite ones are the blackcurrant flavoured.

Haliborange 2The rest of the goody bag contained, a Mr Men colouring book and bumper pack of 36 crayons, an information pack of other vitamins available and lastly a growth chart which has been an eye opener to see just how tall the kids actually are!

These vitamins are available to buy from most high street stores/supermarkets and are currently available in my local supermarket for £4.99 per packet or 3 packs for £10!

**This is not a sponsored post, I was provided with a Haliborange Mr Men & Little Miss goody pack with vitamins for Lewis to try out and enjoy. All words and opinions are my own.

    These look great, we personally don’t give T vitamins, but if ever I needed to I’d certainly be on the look out for these.

    I’m very lucky that my monsters are all good eaters (well Ellie has started fussing but in general is a healthy eater) and vitamins arent something Ive ever bought. But good to know about these, as with 3 under 4’s who know when fussiness will rear its face!!

    Thanks for linking up to #ToddlerApprovedTuesday

    I have a fussy eater too, and really struggle to remember to give Lamb his vitamins. Luckily for us he actually likes the one we have which is liquid form and lemon flavoured, I’m just so forgetful! Will definitely have to try these out when he’s older x #toddlerapprovedtuesday
