Qwerkity Radio Controlled Racing Car : Review
I know the annual Christmas rush is upon us and we are starting to face the dilemma’s in our shopping trips on what to get the men in our lives, I know this year imparticular I have had problems buying for male relatives.
Recently I was contacted by Qwerkity with the task of finding and reviewing the prefect Christmas gifts for men. The range of gifts provided is amazing, they stock over 600 brilliant gifts for men so it took me some time to look through and find a gift that my husband would like. I soon came across this;
This radio controlled car is a priced at £19.99 and comes delivered to you with an additional charge of £3.99. My husband does enjoy quirky gifts like this as they can be enjoyed alone, with the kids or even our dog.
Contents of the box include;
- 1x RC Racing Car – secured into the box by use of a screw, a mini screwdriver is supplied to assist with removal.
- 1x Steering Wheel Remote Control
- 1x Aerial – which requires attaching at the top of the controller.
- 4x AA Batteries – which are already inserted into the controller but require unwrapping before use.
Really simple to set up and use, but firstly your car requires charging. At the top of the controller you will see a silver hatch, simply open this and it contains a small charging cable. The batteries of the remote not only power the remote but also charge the car. A full charge will take about 5 minutes and provide about 10minutes of use.
The remote/car have a distance range of about 20m and when the car drives forward it activates its LED headlights giving it a more sporty appearance. The remote also features an extra “speed up” button to make your car drive forward faster. This is perfect but does drain the battery slightly quicker.
All in all its a really fab and quirky product, my husband has had a brilliant time playing with this as well as my children. A brilliant fun product for any man’s Christmas.
