Trendy Tot Thursday – Week 18

Welcome back to another week over in the Trendy Tot Thursday (#TT_Thursday) corner!!

For any newbies who are unaware what Trendy Tot Thursday is about, its a weekly linky hosted by myself and Tina from MotherGeek where you can share your child’s/children’s favourite outfit(s) of the week. There are no restrictions to the outfit(s) (i.e. new, old, borrowed, charity shop bought etc) or age of the children, so long as you are happy we are happy.

For further information please feel free to read the intro post.

Firstly I hope you all have had a safe and wonderful Halloween and Bonfire Night. My kids refused to partake in the Halloween shenanigans as the outfits scare them quite a bit but they were happy to hand out tons of free sweeties to all the trick or treaters… hopefully they will dress up next year! Last week I particularly likes Mummy’s Blog Halloween edition as there must have been some careful planning to have not only 1 but 3 outfits for Halloween and they were all very cute.

This week seeing as my kids refused to dress up there will be no scary costumes from them but thankfully Bonfire Night has quickly followed suit and at the weekend we went to a Firework event at out local Victorian Town, I dressed the kids in thousands of layers in an attempt to keep the kids dry and warm… are you ready?! I will list everything regardless if you can see it! haha.

TTT Week 18I’ll start with Lewis, he’s wearing;

  • 3 tops – vest, long sleeved red t-shirtfrom George and hooded orange jacket from George.
  • PJ Bottoms (under his jeans!) & Jeans
  • Socks, Welly Socks and Wellies

Please note the lack of a coat… it was warm and Lewis was boiling! (Yep I cooked the boy!)

Leah on the other hand wouldn’t let me remove any layers from her, kept complaining she was cold… I put this down to exhaustion. She’s wearing;

  • 4 tops – vest, long sleeved Peppa Pig Tshirt, Fleecy Thomas & Friends jumper and coat
  • Bottoms – Plum leggings and mouse Jeans from Next
  • Socks, Welly Socks and Wellies.
  • Peppa Pig hat – we’ve had it a while and I had to force it off her head!

Previous years of attending this display its been freezing cold and I’ve under dressed the kids… this year I wanted to get it right… and got it wrong again!

So now its your turn;

All we ask for is for you to spare 5 minutes to share your outfit of the week, grab a badge (below) and pop it on your blog post. Once you have linked up simply share the love for #TT_Thursday and comment on other blog’s which have linked up.

    They both look very warm and cosy. It’s impossible to get it right, but better to be too hot than too cold x

    They were certainly wrapped up well! I find it really hard to judge how to dress the girls sometimes, especially as neither of them like being too hot.

    Wow! That’s a lot of clothes! Better to be too warm and able to remove layers than to be too col with no options xx

    Wow you really wrapped them up warm didn’t you! I always get it wrong somehow and olivia is always completely inappropriately dressed (see this weeks post!)
