Pillow Pets Dream Lites : Review & Giveaway

With Christmas around the corner the TV is now full of very appealing adverts for young kids, various items get added daily to my son’s Christmas List and his original list he made a month ago has now been somewhat forgotten. I am starting to face a daily battle to keep the kids (especially my son) original wishes alive in their mind… this is mainly because I’ve pretty much bought everything on their original lists!

One item which was on my son’s original list was a Pillow Pets Dream Lites and when I was offered to review one I was very pleased, I’ve actually passed this off to Lewis as an early gift from Santa for being a good boy!

Pillow PetsFor our review we received the Green Dinorsaur which Lewis quickly renamed Terence Triceratops and he is of a perfect size for any young child measuring at 11″ long. Terence can either stand or be unfastened to lie down, doubling up as your child’s pillow and is really soft. As you unfasten the Dinosaur you will find a battery compartment, it required 3 AAA batteries which are not supplied and you can also alter the switch to either Timer On or Timer Off. Timer On will limit the battery usage, providing a 20 minute timer and Timer Off will just keep on working until it is turned off manually.

Pillow Pets 1The top of the Dinosaur is where all the magic happens. Simply press the button on Terence’s back and he will provide 3 different glowing colours for your child, Amber, Blue and Green. These can either be static colours or gradual changing colours depending on your wishes. To choose your preference either;

  • Press the button once for grandual colour change effect
  • Press twice for a solid amber glow
  • Press three times for a solid blue glow
  • Lastly 4 times for a solid green glow

Pressing the button 5 times will then turn the pack off.

Pillow Pets 2The glow is really soothing in the dark and each character has their own animal print which will be lit onto the ceiling of your chosen room.

Pillow Pets Range

There are 14 characters available in the range all of which have an RRP of Β£19.99 each with free delivery!

I have also put together a short video review.

Now for the fun part…

The lovely people at Mookie Toys have now offered me a great opportunity to run a give-away for one lucky reader to win a Dream Lites prize bundle! The bundle will depend of the sex of the recipient child and will contain;

1 x Sleep Time Pillow Spray

1 Set of Children’s Books

1 Pair of Pyjama’s

1 Dressing Gown

1 x Dream Lite Toy – either a Green Dino or a LadyBird
