Frozen Inspired Mini Photoshoot With Amrose Photography : Review
My regular readers may recall back at the end of November last year my children were invited to have a Christmas themed photo shoot all courtesy of Vicky from Amrose Photography. A couple of weeks ago Leah was invited back again this time for a Frozen inspired photo shoot all spurred on by her daughters love for all things Frozen.
Who was I to say no… we all know just how crazy Leah is about Elsa & Anna.
Amrose Photography is based in Baschurch minutes outside of Shrewsbury, Shropshire in a lovely remote location and offer a wide range of photo sessions, from weddings, bumps & babies, children & family’s, pets, themed and so much more.
Alot of Vicky’s studio work is undertaken in her own studio at home, this room can be tastefully decorated to suit the theme of the photo shoot. For example we had a snowy winter backdrop to coincide with the scenes from Frozen also coupled with a snowy ground this made a perfect stage for Leah to perform.
On the way to Amrose Photography I was talking to Leah in the car about her getting dressed up and looking like Anna & Elsa of which she was extremely excited. Leah has previously been rather easy to get dressed up but quickly looses interest and wants to undress again but not this time. When I showed Leah the outfit’s she knew which character wore each outfit, then declared her Blue shoe’s were Anna’s shoes and wanted to wear to corresponding outfit too.
Then we got down to business, trying to get a 2 year old child to smile for camera. Any mother will know that getting a child to smile for a camera, especially a young child really is a tricky business. To start with Leah was a pouting and scowling mess, but luckily Vicky (also being a mother of 2 young children) had a few tricks up her sleeve.
Firstly there was Olaf and we all know Olaf loves warm hugs. Leah wasn’t having any of it and was just sat starring at him to begin with. Secondly Vicky has prepared the Frozen soundtrack and I know instantly this would help break that defence she’d built, and she was desperate to have a sing.
Eventually with the help of music and Olaf the defence was nearly shattered, Leah soon got into the spirit of things and happily played and smiled. She is also going through a phase of people/toys being “updide down” (upside down to you and me) of which Olaf thoroughly enjoyed.
Soon it was time for Leah to get into her second costume, this time dressing up as Queen Elsa. Another gorgeous costume with a lovely long glittery train at the back. This costume really did bring Leah out of her shell, coupled up with a music video of “Let It Go” she was dancing and copying dance moves pretending to be Queen Elsa.
The cost of the photoshoot is £60 which lasts for 1 hour which includes use of costumes and Olaf. Shortly after the shoot you will be provided with an online gallery to look at all the marvellous photos and you will be given the option to choose 1 10″x8″ print free of charge! Now for the best bit… the end results. For purpose of this review we were provided with a small selection of photos which I have the greatest of pleasure to share with you now!
