Word Of The Week – 26/9/14

Evening to you all!

Yes I know I know, I take part in #WOTW for months on end, disappear, come back and disappear again. Given the week I’ve had this is a very fitting word.

WOTW Sept 26 14This is for a few reasons;

Firstly, I appeared to have temporarily misplaced my brain… All the thanks for this I owe to my GP for prescriping me medication which mad me incredibly tired, unable to think straight and just plain missing. I had never felt so lost in all my life, I was unable to cope with the medication so i’ve had to stop it and slowly I am feeling human again.

Secondly, my daughter lost her favourite teddy which brought a tense 24 hours to the Clearly Household. Thankfully Leah’s beloved Dogdog was found, taken in by a lovely family and through the magic of Facebook was returned to my daughters loving arms the next morning!

DogDog 3I take part of this linky with The Reading Residence.

    The power of FaceBook! It’shorrible when little ones loose a much cherished soft toy. My daughter used to drag this tatty old soft toy flower everywhere and one day she lost it…Or rather had put it to bed somewhere and forgotten where. Luckily we found it the next day my a matter of elimination; but what a sleepless night we all had!

    I am glad that you are slowly feeling human again, the last thing you need when you have little ones is to feel as if your brain has gone missing!

    Popped over from #WotW.

    Good to hear you’re feeling more like yourself now then, and what a relief that someone found DogDog! I love social media for things like this! Thanks for returning to and sharing with #WotW x

    Missing was a great word for the week you had…I’m happy to hear that you are feeling more normal now, how very scary though! I think it is amazing that you found DogDog via Facebook. I would never be so lucky! Thanks for sharing!
