Hotter Shoes Blogger Event : Autumn/Winter

Back in June I posted a review for Hotter after attending a blogging conference and also visiting one of their stores in Shrewsbury, Shropshire. At their store in Shrewsbury I learnt a lot about their shoes, the Hotter history and got to view a lot of their Summer shoe collection.

Now the seasons are turning and I was invited back to Hotter shoes, this time in Solihull for a blogger event with a handful of other bloggers. Here I refreshed my knowledge for all things Hotter and got to have a really good look at their Autumn/Winter range for this year. Hotter Solihull 1What I love about the coming season’s footwear is the colours they are all the shoes are following this years must have Autumn/Winter trends. For instance the Plum’s, Blue’s & Red’s whilst keeping the traditional Black’s and Ivory’s. Also most of the footwear is sporting the Polyurethane soles for added comfort and support during the cold and icy months. Being a big fan and also loving this seasons Plum trend I was in awe over the Plum Shake’s which would had bode really well with my existing and much loved Dusky Pink Shake’s.

Hotter Solihull 2Now being the proud owner of 2 pairs of Hotter Shoes I wanted to try a completely different style of shoe and also push boundaries slightly. Because of existing ankle/foot injuries I need to protect my feet from further damage but with my current Hotter shoes they really do make my feet feel a lot better and supported so felt comfortable pushing the boundaries.

3 pairs of boots above really caught my eye which are;

  • Right – Moray Boots priced at £99, these are faux fur lined, with adjustable leg fittings thanks to the laces up the rear of the boot and a zip fastening.
  • Top Left – Moonstone Boots priced at £89, these ankle boots feature a bow on the outside of the ankle, are available in soft suede (Navy) and leather (Black & Red) and have zip fastening. These boots promote the Pyramid Technology in the base of the foot.
  • Bottom Left – Whisper Boots priced at £76, available in two different materials, soft suede (Cabernet) and leather (Navy & Black) and feature a fully padded interior for extra warmth in the winter months. Also with the dual zip fastening and slouch design these really are a comfortable and winter must have.

After spending way too long trying all three shoes on, walking around the store whilst debating over which shoes I would call mine and take home I finally made a decision;

Hotter Solihull 3I chose the Whisper Boots in Navy and I am delighted with my choice. I love everything about these boots and they are very practical for my needs. They are incredibly lightweight, the soles are flexible whilst featuring the Polyurethane sole which I love and are fully padded on the interior to keep my feet extra snug and warm over the coming winter months. Because these shoes also promote a dual zip it also provides extra comfort for my bad foot when putting on my boots and removing them later. Also they can be worn with jeans and leggings, a perfect finish to any of my outfits.

What would be your winter boot choice for the coming season and why??
