ClearlyDaddy & I

Today marks 6 years since the best day of my life,

6 years since I said “I do” and became a Mrs.

This is a short story of mine and ClearlyDaddy’s lives together.

Anniversary 1ClearlyDaddy and I met 9 years ago, whilst I lived in Lancashire and he in Shropshire through an introduction of a friend. Not even 5 months later I’d packed up my life in Lancashire to be with him here and that was AFTER we got engaged!

We were in no immediate rush to get married, our engagement was a show of commitment for each other and our future together. So nearly 3 years later we said our vows.

Anniversary 2We had a late afternoon wedding surrounded by family & close friends, at a gorgeous hotel near to where we live. Gorgeous weather and it was actually the hottest day of the year that day too! I walked down the aisle to UB40 – Can’t Help Falling In Love.

For our evening do it was held at the same place, where we ate chinese food, or should I say everyone else ate foot… I forgot to eat! We also had a chocolate fountain again, I forgot to eat this too!

For our first dance was James Blunt – Your Beautiful, a song we have pondered over all evening rather fitting to our lives and music taste back then but not overly sure about it now.

We’ve never had much money, and never really wanted much money either. Always been very happy with what we have. So after our wedding we had a short honeymoon visiting our favourite Welsh coastline, Aberdovey, Towyn & Barmouth.

Anniversary 511 Months later we welcomed our first child into the world, Lewis born 13th June 2009 weighing 6lb10. Lewis was induced 3 weeks before his due date due an infection risk.

Anniversary 318 Months later devastation struck us, with the loss of our 2nd child Megan.

Then only 6 months later we were given another chance of parenthood with the news we were pregnant again and then on 23rd March 2012 we welcomed Leah into the world, 6 days late weighing 7lb4.

Anniversary 4

So to my Darling Husband, I love you with all my heart, I always have, I always will…. I want to say here’s to another fantastic 6 years of married to look forward to but I am going to go the whole hog and scream

HERE’S TO THE REST OF OUR LIVES TOGETHER!
