Cirque Du Hilarious Has Arrived In Blackpool This Summer!
Last weekend Lewis and I took a trip up North to visit family and also go and view a hilarious new Circus arriving in Blackpool for the Summer Holidays. Cirque Du Hilarious a slapstick comedy full of fun and laughter.
We attended on Monday at 1pm for the first show in Blackpool full of curiosity but really looking forward to seeing the show listening to previous fab reviews. On our journey over I was rather sceptical as usually when we attend a circus there’s usually a big tent and I knew there would be no space to fit one on the central pier. We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived as the show was taking place above the central pier arcade. So we took a seat at the back of the room, and waited for the show to begin.
Cirque Du Hilarious is performed by a family act, Clive Webb with his sons Danny Adams, Mick Potts and Jonny Marx.
From the start of the show we were captivated, as it full of magic, dance and really funny comedy. Also at times during the show you are left a little startled from loud bangs or some of the comedy which appears to have gone wrong or has actually genuinely gone wrong. All acts are really well handled with excellent crowd engagement.
The show is really funny and Lewis was completely captivated from start to finish. In-between acts there were short intervals with dancing scene’s from The Dancers and half way through the show there was a 10 minute interval.
I really recommend if you are in the area over the summer holidays to make a trip to Central Pier to see the show, now only showing once a day at 15.30 due to heat but well worth the wait to see. Tickets are £10 per adult, £8 per child or £26 for a family ticket (2 adults & 2 children), make sure you make a date to go and see!
