Drumond Park Doh Nutters : Review & Giveaway
As we all know, school holidays only mean one thing… Bad Weather! Countless days of rain and wind which result in bored and aggravated kids. Just as the schools broke up for half term we took delivery of Doh Nutters from Drumond Park whilst Lewis had a friend round for tea. Both Lewis and “R” were excited to get this game out and get playing.
4x Elephant Masks (different colours with stretchy straps)
12 Plastic DohNut (3 of each colour)
1 Playing Board
With an age recommendation of 4+, Doh Nutters is a group game where you wear Elephant Masks and without using your hands you pick up your coloured DohNuts using your trunk. The boys were eager to set to it and quite literally dived in, with shrieks of laughter although they found it rather difficult for a while to keep their hands away from their trunks or the hoops. Leah on the other hand, aged 2 had endless fun picking the DohNuts up and stacking them all on her trunk with her hands whilst making elephant noises.
The player to collect all their DohNuts with their trunk is the winner.
The idea is to collect all the DohNuts and keep them on your trunk but this proved very difficult for Lewis and “R” to manage as they kept falling off so we created our own rule to collect a DohNut using the trunk and then you can remove it by hand to collect another DohNut. This proved less stressful to start with and kept the boys entertained.
This game has been really fun to play with my son during the holidays and he is slowly perfecting his art of trunk scooping.
Doh Nutters is available to buy from your local toy stockists, a list of which you can find here and has an RRP of £14.99.
Now for the fun part…
