BRITAX Kidfix SL SICT Summer Cover : Review

Following on from our review of the BRITAX Kidfix SL SICT car seat for Lewis back in February we have now been supplied with a Summer Cover for his seat. Perfect timing for all the hot weather we are now having.

Summer Cover 1Available in only one colour, light blue, it retracts the light to prevent the seat getting hot thus your child not getting a shock when getting into their car seat from the heat. Made from a towelling material its lightweight, easy to clean and comfortable.

Summer Cover 2For the Kidfix SL SICT the cover comes in two parts, the headrest and the seat. Easy to attach following the instructions with a snug and secure fit using the clips and elastic straps provided.

The only issue we have had with the Summer Cover is the base part of the seat, the elastic straps have no where to hold onto so this part regularly comes loose but Lewis is so proud of his “boys cover” he pulls the cover back into place before sitting in his seat.

Summer Cover 3

All in all I would thoroughly recommend this Summer Cover to anyone who owns a BRITAX car seat, there are a range of covers to fit all car seats, perfect for keeping your child comfortable this summer.

Available to order online from various stockists with an RRP of £24.99.

**This is not a sponsored post, I was provided with a Summer Cover from BRITAX for my son’s KIDFIX SL SICT to test and review. All words and opinions are my own.

The cover looks great – I think we’ll need to invest in one for our Britax car seat, we had over 42 degrees last week! x

We have a Britax Dualfix and I almost bought the summer cover before we went on holiday – I could only order one direct from Britax and I wasn’t sure it would arrive in time…so I improvised my own using a fitted cot sheet! I’m still tempted to order the proper one though as I think it would help to keep Toby cooler in the car.
