Now Easter Is Over….

I hope you have all had lovely Easter Holiday’s, over in the ClearlyBex household we certainly did and lots of Easter Eggs have been consumed!

Its been a busy time here too, Friday and Saturday saw Lewis and I visiting family in the North and it was my Birthday. The journey up to Lancashire was horrid, and the usually journey of 2 hours took just over 4 due to massive tailbacks on the M6, thankfully no accidents but just lots of holiday traffic. Saturday we met up with friends for lunch and then Tina (MotherGeek), Lee, Sam & Sydney for a playdate at Buckshaw Village.

Sunday started off with lots of crafts, making the kids Easter Bonnets and also making Egg Easter Animals then we had a family Easter Day with my in-laws, lots of yummy scrummy foods, too much pudding and a lovely day.

Monday brought another Easter Themed day, this time Leah and I got the train over to Shrewsbury to visit our friend Clare and Charlotte for a housewarming/Easter party. The kids had a great time with an Easter Egg hunt, mask and egg drawings and an Egg & Spoon race. Although Leah and Charlotte got distracted during the race with a Ladybird nest.

A fabulous end result to my Easter/Birthday weekend, was that I lost 3lb at my Slimming World weigh in on Monday Evening too so all the chocolate and healthy eating did pay off this week! *phew*.

Please feel free to share your weekend with me I’d love to know what you all got up to.

@Laura Corrall Haha, I wish my kids decided it would be cruel to eat the chocolate chicks… they’ve beheaded most of theirs now! I do like that jacket, suits my friends daughter loads. x

My daughter has that zip up pink jacket with the love hearts too! Looks like you all had a lovely Easter. We love doing crafts too. We went to a local family fun day, did crafts, and had a play in the garden. My daughter hasn’t touched her chocolate chick yet…as it would be cruel to eat it! Ah kids eh.
