Word Of The Week #9

Continuing with The Reading Residence’s Word of The Week Linky for 2014.

The only word I can really think of to sum up this week is;

It really has been one of them weeks, and to put it simply this how I’ve felt.

I’ve been drowned in housework, drowned in washing, drowned in ironing, drowned in cooking, drowned in kids, drowned in dog and even drowning in blog… I’ve felt completely suffocated this week with everything.

I’m running circles round the house cleaning up, feel constantly attached to the hoover as the kids and dog are walking half the garden into the house every time they go outside. I’m still trying to catch up on laundry following the kids 2 outfits per day saga through the holidays and to top it all off the dog keeps destroying his bed. I’m either picking up stuffing from his bed continuously or hoovering up bits of wicker basket.

I’m not complaining about being drowned in blog because this is something which I love. I’m complaining due to lack of time being able to focus on said blog. I’ve been meaning to make contacts for Britmums Sponsorship which is yet to be drafted let alone sent.

I really feel like i’m fighting a loosing battle.

Ok, rant over… hopefully it’ll be more cheery next week.

    Sounds so frustrating and draining. It’s always hard when you’re desperately trying to do something else, too, and can’t get round to it. I hope next week sees you making some blog progress and things returning to more of an even keel x Thanks for sharing with #WotW
