Drumond Park Pig Goes Pop – Review and Giveaway
As a child I loved playing board games with my family, now I want to relive my youth and love for games with my children.
Lewis is now at that perfect age for his introduction to these types of games and we can’t wait to get started. The lovely people at Drumond Park have got us started on our journey by sending us Pig Goes Pop to play and review, for 2-6 players aged 4+.
The aim of the game is to take it in turns to feed the burgers to the pig without bursting open his coat. The player to burst his coat open loses the game.
The game comes with;
1 piggy chef
1 dice
16 burgers of 4 different colours.
Before starting the game make sure the Pigs tummy is completely deflated by turning the pigs tail to the left, clip his arms down and fasten his jacket. Also make sure the bottoms of the burgers are numbers down.
The youngest player starts first by rolling the dice. If it lands on a single colour pick a burger of that colour, a multicoloured dice means pick a burger of any colour or a burger with an X through it means you miss your go.
Once you have chosen your burger, make note of the number on the bottom and feed it to the pig. Then press the pigs head the number of times printed on the burger and its the next players go.
During the game the pigs stomach will inflate which eventually will make the pigs jacket tight and then pop open at the end of the game. The person to make the Pig Go Pop will be the loser of the game. Then you deflate your pigs tummy, fasten his jacket, remove the burgers using the hatch on his back and start again.
I think this game is super easy and thoroughly enjoyable for young children, perfect for families to play together. We really are enjoying this game, even Leah (aged 22 months) enjoys feeding the pig and making his belly pop.
With an RRP of £19.99 this game is fab value and provides hours of entertainment. For stockists and to even play an online version of this game visit Drumond Park webpage.
Now for the fun part, the people at Drumond Park would like to offer a lucky reader the chance to win a Pig Goes Pop game to enjoy as much as we do.
To enter, please follow the instructions carefully, as incorrect entries will result in a forfeit from the competition and please make yourself familiar with my Terms & Conditions.
GOOD LUCK!!
Feel free to take a look at any other giveaways running at the moment!!
**AMENDMENT** 2/2/14 @ 15.10 – For entries made before this time I apologise as I had a problem with the “Leave A Comment Part” which was requesting you to chose a bouquet of flowers. Clearly this was rather wrong and did not bare resemblance to the giveaway what so ever, my bad!!
The question has now been amended and all comments left before this time will still be considered. Sorry! š
