Early Learning Centre Big City Garage : Review
In the run up to Christmas you may be wondering what to get your children as that “perfect gift”, I believe I have a decent answer for any young child… boy or girl. If your child is of an age where he or she loves playing with toy cars then this Big City Garage from Mothercare/Early Learning Centre could be the one.
Perfect for either a boy or girl, this garage has a recommended age of 3yrs+. Simple to construct so long as you pay attention to the instructions as it only has 2 diagrams to complete construction so make sure you get everything in place. I also recommend adding the batteries to the car lift prior to building as adding them after can be a little fiddly.
Top picture is the completion of step 1, the bottom picture is full completion and the right picture is full completion from the front.
The Big City Garage was an immediate hit with both of my children, Leah (aged 19Months) enjoys racing her cars down the ramps and chasing them across the living-room. Whilst Lewis (aged 4 Years) loves playing with every aspect of the garage, from car washing, to filling with fuel and using the car lift. He has really used his imagination whilst playing with this garage, there’s been a police chase and even a runaway train in the garage!!
I really like the Big City Garage, it really has lit up my children’s imagination during play. The garage is very sturdy and strong and with enough care I believe this toy will last for years whilst both my children grow up.
The Big City Garage is also compatible with the following attachments, the Big City Carry Along City and Big City Spiral Race Ramp. I firmly believe with the additional two sets this will really broaden your child’s imagination, something I shall definitely be looking at getting to expand this set.
I have recorded the Big City Garage in action so that you can get an idea of the sounds and play.
Priced at £55 from your local Mothercare/Early Learning Store this will be a perfect Christmas present for any young child with a love for playing cars.
