British Food Fortnight

From the 21st September to the 6th October 2013 brings the annual British Food Fortnight, following the yearly harvests. This is a perfect time to celebrate all foods British!

Oxo have set their bloggers with a challenge, to serve up a full British meal, snack or treat using a maximum of 2 products from their Oxo Good Grips Range. For my challenge I chose to make a Lasagne (Yep, its British!!) with the Oxo Good Grips Box Grater and the Large Silicone Flexible Turner.

In my household we LOVE lasagne (except for our fussy eater Leah), we usually have it served with Garlic Bread but for this meal we decided to serve it with roasted vegetables to keep the British theme. A lovely change which we shall be making a regular appearance.


Lasagne Roasted Vegetables
Mince Beef Onion
Onion Mushrooms
Mushrooms Asparagus
Garlic Courgette
Red Lasagne Sauce Garlic
White Lasagne Sauce Cherry Tomatoes
1/2 tin of Chunky Chopped Tomatoes Olive Oil
Lasagne Sheets
Red Leicester Cheese
Mild White Cheddar Cheese
